3. The Block Party is this Saturday! Help us reach out to the community. Sign up to volunteer today. Here are a few of the positions that need to be filled: Set-up, Block Party Manager, Dessert Makers, Sidewalk Chalk, Bounce House Patrol, Bingo/Game Host, Food Servers, and Clean up. Sign up to volunteer online or contact the office to see what's available!
4. Get Your Operation Christmas Child Box in the narthex. Operation Christmas Child delivers great joy and the Good News of Jesus to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes. Fill a box and return it by November 2nd. Thanks!
5. We have the opportunity to help those facing hardship in the Souderton area with a complete Thanksgiving meal. These meals will be given out through Keystone Opportunity Center in Souderton. You will find a flyer showing what is needed on the table in the narthex. Help show our care and support for our neighbors this Thanksgiving with a meal for those in need. We will receive donations through Sunday, November 2nd.
6. Welcome to Leidy’s is coming on November 2nd following the service. If you’re new here and would like to learn more about Leidy’s Church, sign up online or contact the church office.
7. Appliance Giveaway: GE oven – electric range with glass top and double oven; and a KitchenAid dishwasher. Contact the church office for more information.
8. Zion Choral Choir will be at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Pottstown on Sunday, October 26, the concert begins at 3:00pm.
9. Do you live in a high-traffic area? We have plenty of yard signs for our Craft Show on Nov. 22nd . . . so help us get the word out! Two sizes of print are available . . . depending on how fast people drive by your house! Stop by the office and please put a sign up for us!
10. Kids Spring Musical Kick Off is on November 8th at 10AM in the Fellowship Hall! Join the party and learn about this year's musical! For kids 5 years on up!
11. There are four new Community Groups available. Join one today! Sign up on Church Center (Groups - Community Groups) or call the office for details! Kendall & Mary Beth Musselman: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays, 6:30-8:30; Jim & Angela Kinney: Every other Thursday at 6:30; Andrew & Reagan Wetzel: 1st & 3rd Thursdays, 7-9, & Tim & Rachel Leidy: 2nd & 4th Thursdays, 6:30-8:30.
12. Join our own, Verna Bowman, as the guest speaker at the Women's Fall Retreat at the Tuscarora Inn & Conference Center, in Mt. Bethel, PA on Nov. 7-9. For more information contact the office or Verna.
