4. A Huge Thank You to the folk who worked on the SLMT project at Life Turning Point this summer. And an especially loud shout out to Brian Radcliff who headed up the whole thing up and was there working every day. We do labor like that so that the kingdom of the Lord Jesus may be brought into and advanced in the lives of homeless moms and their children in Philadelphia. May His blessing rest upon our labors and our laborers.

6. French Connection: Join us next Sunday (during the Sunday School hour) to hear from Joshua and Charline Jacobs. We’ve partnered with Joshua for over five years as he’s been serving with Mission to the World in France. Josh and Charline are heavily involved in the youth group at their church in Lyon, France, and in other leadership roles there. Joshua organizes evangelism outreach throughout the city and, with church leadership, seeks opportunities to grow the church throughout the greater Lyon region. Come hear about the joys and challenges of sharing and growing the Gospel in this area of our world. They’ll be sharing from Room 123. We hope to see you there.
7. Precepts Returns this September. On Thursday, September 11th from 9-11:30 in Rm. 123 we will begin the study of 1 Timothy. If your desire is to study scripture in a deeper way and be in strong fellowship – please join us! There will be an information night on Sunday, September 7th at 6:30pm. Please RSVP to Verna as soon as possible. Workbooks will be available, cost is $22.
8. Join the Leidy's Kids Team! Are you interested in teaching or assisting for either a semester or the year? Or perhaps you’re willing to be a sub in a classroom on occasion?
