ANNOUNCEMENTS

3. Congratulations to Jack Heebner at his baptism this morning. May God be with him as he grows in Him.

4. Trying to plan out your summer? Brian Radcliff is planning two work weeks on the Carriage House down at Life Turning Point Philly. Those weeks are: July 21-25/6 and August 11-15/6. There will be a sign-up soon or you can speak with Brian for more details.

5. This is the last week to help us support the North Care Women’s Clinic! Take a baby bottle from the narthex, fill it with coins, cash, and checks to make a difference! Return it to the church by the end of May.

6. Consistory/Elders are asking suggestions from the congregation for elders and deacons? Please email the office or let Pastor Darren know.

7. Missions Trip - Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic - Join Leidy’s Church in the Dominican: August 6-13th! Opportunities may include Bible School, sports camps and/or construction-type missions work depending on the volunteers we get. All participants must have a passport.

8. Olive Juice: If you’ve been waiting for your copy of the latest Leidy’s Church cookbook, please check the narthex today and next Sunday, where the cookbook will be available and on sale. Thank you for your patience!

9. Cameron Gillis & Family would like to invite the congregation to attend his Boy Scout Eagle Ceremony on June 1st at 3pm in the Fellowship Hall. RSVP 267-377-0280 as soon as possible.

10. Calling All Graduates!! We want to recognize and honor those graduating from high school, college, business school, or graduate school during the month of June. Please contact the church office with the name of your graduate(s) and what their plans may be for the future by May 31st.

11. Applications are now being accepted for our church family for the Ladies of Leidy’s Christmas Craft & Gift Sale. After May 31…we will be opening the registrations to non-church family…so reserve your table now while there is still space available. The show will be held Nov 22, 2025 from 9-2. Use your summer to create unique items and earn some extra Christmas cash! There are applications available in the church office.

12. Adopt An Island – It is Spring, and your island may need a bit of sprucing up. If you have decided to give up your island or would like a different one, please contact Brian Radcliff or the church office.

13. There are a few more weeks in the teaching of The Shield of Faith by Priscilla Shirer. Our last class before taking a break will be at the end of June.

14. The American Legion Color Guard will be at the Leidy’s Cemetery tomorrow around 8:15am for those who would like to be present. There will be a Color Guard salute, taps, and a prayer to honor our military.

15. A Property Workday is being planned for this Saturday from 8:00am to 12 noon. We will be working down by the pond, and at the Mifflin entrance removing dead shrubs and overgrown weeds. Sign up on Church Center or call the office. Any questions, see Brian Radcliff, or call him at 215-740-4714.

16. Coming Soon! Ladies book discussion: Five Lies of Our Anti-Christian Age by Rosaria Butterfield. Join us on Monday, June 2nd at 9:45am in Rm. 123 for the introduction. Books are available on Amazon. The first book discussion will begin on Monday, June 9th. If you have any questions, contact Sandy Nase 215-669-1421.

17. Samaritan’s Purse Relief Trip to North Carolina is being planned by the Mission Committee. The dates are Oct. 12-17. If this is of interest to you, please let the church office know. A planning meeting with more details will be forthcoming.
