2. As you partner with us in the work of the Kingdom, please place your gifts and offerings in the Get Connected pillars.
3. The Fourth Candle on the Advent Wreath is the candle of Love. The advent of the Christ Child is God’s eternal love reaching redemptively into the daily, grimy, fallen life of mankind. It was the love of God that planned and brought to pass the coming of Jesus into our world and, ultimately, into our personal lives.
4. Christmas Eve Service - December 24 at 5:00PM. Join us for a special worship service where we’ll reflect on Scripture, sing beloved carols and songs, and end the evening with a candlelight singing of Silent Night. We invite you to share in this celebration of Jesus birth.
5. Next Sunday is the last day to contribute to the Double Your Dollar Campaign! Let’s finish this year with a spirit of generosity and gratitude! You can give by using the Renovation Fund Envelope or a Second Mile Offering Envelope and indicate Renovation Fund. Give online at https://leidyschurch.churchcenter.com/giving, by mail, or in person.
6. Congratulations to Jack Parry, Byron Rimmer, and Jim Kinney who will be ordained and installed as Elders this morning. May God bless their ministry among us.
7. Leidy’s Church Congregational Luncheon & Meeting will take place on Sunday, January 12th after the service of worship. At this meeting a budget will be adopted for 2025. A copy of the budget will be posted on the narthex wall before the meeting.
8. Boxed offering envelopes is one of the many ways to give your tithes and offerings. If you have had them in the past, your 2025 box are in your mailbox. If you are a non-member and would like a box of envelopes to use for 2025, please contact the church office or Mary Beth Musselman.
9. All financial contributions need to be in the church office no later than Monday, December 30th by 12 noon to be credited for the 2024 tax year.
10. The 2025 Flower Chart is posted on the wall in the narthex for those who would like to sponsor flowers for our sanctuary.
