5. Join us next Sunday for a Mid-Year Congregational Luncheon & Business Meeting, a time to fellowship, enjoy a meal together, and engage in important church business. The meeting will take place immediately after the Worship Service. We invite all members and regular attenders to participate in this event! There will be NO Childcare for this meeting.
6. VBS begins in two weeks. Join us for an Irish Adventure through Psalm 23. In a world full of worry, kids will discover that God cares for them. At Emerald Crossing VBS, they’ll explore Ireland, learn about David the shepherd-king, and see how Psalm 23 leads them from worry to peace, fear to faith, and uncertainty to a firm foundation in God’s Word. Get your passport ready and join the adventure! For kids who have completed K-5th Grade.
7. What is Christmas in July? Christmas in July is a joyful, easy way to make change for LIFE in the middle of summer by supporting Amnion Pregnancy Care Medical Center. Choose an ornament from the Christmas tree featuring an Amnion giving QR code and a specific gift amount that describes exactly what that gift provides: from pregnancy tests to ultrasounds to post-abortion counseling care. Choosing an ornament is choosing to meet real needs. Everyone can participate!
8. VBS Donations Needed: Consider donating or lending some items to decorate! Email Bekah at bekah.kulp@leidyschurch.org if you can provide some of these items: large flower pots, polyfill, and round green tablecloths. Check out our Amazon Wishlist for more donation items! Thank you for helping make this year's VBS look amazing!
9. Family Loop to the Scoop: This Saturday at 6:30pm for young families and couples. Meet us at the church parking lot and take a walk to the Downtown Scoop. Bring some $ for ice cream and stay for fellowship at the Chestnut St. Park. We hope to see you there!
10. Men’s Ministry Survey – A survey has been placed in your mailbox, or you can find them on the Welcome Desk. You can scan the QR Code or fill it out and return it to the Welcome Desk. We are looking for ways to help our men grow in their faith and to grow together as men.
11. Young Adults Third Weekend, This Saturday from 7:30 - 10:30AM at Leidy's Church. Join us to volunteer, we will be working on special projects around the building! Reach out to Justin Coale at 215-589-8173 for more info.
12. A VBS Volunteer Training Meeting will be held in the Conference Room immediately following the worship service this morning.
13. There will be NO Children’s Sunday School in July as the Kids Ministry is taking the month off to allow teachers to attend the CORE Seminars in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome to join! The Friends Class and the Women’s Sunday School will continue to meet in July.
14. O.A.S.I.S (55+) Summer Indoor Picnic happens this Wednesday at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. You’re invited to join us for food, fellowship, and community. Bring a picnic themed side dish to share, you can sign up in the narthex or online!
15. Leidy's Kids Ministry is looking for volunteers! Join us to serve 4-6 times a year in our infant, toddler, or pre-k nurseries. These rooms provide a space for our youngest kids to feel safe and loved at church while learning that Jesus loves them.
