4. Get ready to travel to Ireland via VBS. Join us for an Irish Adventure through Psalm 23. In a world full of worry, kids will discover that God cares for them. At Emerald Crossing VBS, they’ll explore Ireland, learn about David the shepherd-king, and see how Psalm 23 leads them from worry to peace, fear to faith, and uncertainty to a firm foundation in God’s Word. Get your passport ready and join the adventure! For kids who have completed K-5th Grade. The date is July 27-31.
5. VBS Donations Needed: Consider donating or lending some items to decorate! Email Bekah at bekah.kulp@leidyschurch.org if you can provide some of these items: 2 large pots for planters, fake flowers, baskets, wishing well, polyfill, quilt batting, round green tablecloths, floral foam, artificial turf. 6. Women’s Sunday School Class – Please join us each Sunday morning as a few of our ladies will be sharing a devotional/scripture lesson or testimony! We meet in Rm. 118.
7. O.A.S.I.S (55+) Summer Indoor Picnic Wednesday, July 15th at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. You’re invited to join us for food, fellowship, and community. Bring a picnic themed side dish to share, you can sign up in the narthex or online!
8. There will be NO Children’s Sunday School in July as the Kids Ministry is taking the month off to allow teachers to attend the CORE Seminars in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome to join! The Friends Class and the Women’s Sunday School will continue to meet in July.
9. Leidy's Kids Ministry is looking for volunteers! Join us to serve 4-6 times a year in our infant, toddler, or pre-k nurseries. These rooms provide a space for our youngest kids to feel safe and loved at church while learning that Jesus loves them. If you are interested in serving, please reach out to Bekah Kulp at bekah.kulp@leidyschurch.org for more information.
10. Family Loop to the Scoop: Saturday, July 18 at 6:30pm for young families and couples. Meet us at the church parking lot and take a walk to the Downtown Scoop. Bring some $ for ice cream and stay for fellowship at the Chestnut St. Park. We hope to see you there!
