3. Join us for Rally Day on September 7th at 8:30 in the Fellowship Hall. Calling all students ages 0-12th grade to have breakfast with your new Sunday School teacher! Parents of students are invited too! *Parents of young children – please sit with your little one to help them during breakfast. Thank you!
4. Precepts Returns this September. On Thursday, September 11th from 9-11:30 in Rm. 123 we will begin the study of 1 Timothy. If your desire is to study scripture in a deeper way and be in strong fellowship – please join us! There will be an information night on Sunday, September 7th at 6:30pm. Please RSVP to Verna as soon as possible. Workbooks will be available, cost is $22.
5. Join the Leidy's Kids Team! Want to assist a teacher? Join as a classroom assistant to one of our wonderful teachers! We’re specifically looking for assistants in the 5th/6th grade, 3rd/4th grade, and an assistant or co-teacher for the 2–3-year-old class. Be the right hand to a teacher with no teaching necessary!
6. Join us for a Men’s Breakfast on Saturday, September 27th. Beginning at 8:00am in the Fellowship Hall. The guest speaker will be Pastor Darren DePaul. You can sign up via the church website or the signup on the narthex wall.
7. The 13th Annual Pastors Masters Golf Event which supports Love Cradle will be held on Monday, September 22nd at the Indian Valley Country Club. If you would like to golf, sponsor or donate, please go the website: https://thepastorsmasters.com/ We are looking for volunteers who can help the day of the event – if you can give a few hours or the full day, please contact Patty Kendall 267-389-9218 x-1.
8. New here? Welcome to Leidy’s, get to know Leidy’s Church! If you’re new to Leidy’s and want to explore what we’re about—this is the perfect way to do it. Welcome to Leidy’s is a relaxed gathering that allows you to meet with Pastor Darren and other leaders, learn more about Leidy’s Church, and have your questions answered. Lunch and childcare will be provided. Date is September 21st from 11:30 to 12:30 in Rm. 211. Sign up online or call the office.
9. Love Cradle Need: Irina Yagilnicky and her son Maikl will be staying in the Mission House 9/11-11/16 while Irina helps orchestrate Love Cradle events in the area. Irina will need a vehicle to get to the various functions raising funds for their efforts on behalf of orphans in Ukraine. If you can help in any way with this need, please contact Vangie Niederhaus or the church office.
10. BMCE B&P Breakfast is slated for September 18th. It takes place at the Franconia Heritage banquet facility. A full breakfast buffet is planned. The special speaker is Mike Reichenbach, former linebacker with the Philadelphia Eagles. The opening prayer is at 6:30 followed by the buffet breakfast and then the testimony of Mr. Reichenbach. All will conclude by 8. Tickets are available from Jack Parry, John Niederhaus, and the church office. Tickets are $25 p/person.
