Immanuel Leidy's Church is a community of Christians committed to God, His Word, and His people.
Immanuel Leidy's Church believes in:
We believe in one Triune God who eternally exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He created the world from nothing in six days and continues to exercise His rule and reign over creation. We believe that God has revealed Himself to us in His Word. The 66 books of the Old and New Testament are without error.
We believe that although men and women were created good in God’s image, Adam and Eve, the first humans, disobeyed God. Sin, which separates us from the love of God, entered the world through their disobedience and has spread to each and every one of us apart from Jesus Christ.
We believe that the eternal Son of God took on flesh and a human nature. He is the Lord Jesus Christ. Though He was without sin, He died taking the sins of His people upon Himself. As a result, all who believe in the Lord Jesus have their sins removed and are given His righteousness. The great news of the Gospel is that we cannot earn this justification. It is the gift of God.
We believe that the Lord Jesus, after being raised from the dead and ascending to heaven, will return. When Jesus returns, all who have died will be raised to new life. Those who believe in Him are raised to everlasting life with Him. Those who do not believe in Him are raised to suffer the wrath of God forever.
