3. Why We Use Creeds & Confessions at Leidy’s Church: In our worship services at Immanuel Leidy’s Church, you will notice that we regularly use historic creeds and confessions, such as the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Heidelberg Catechism, with others to come. These ancient statements faithfully summarize what the church has long understood the Bible to teach, keeping us anchored in “the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 3). These creeds and confessions are not additions to Scripture, but faithful summaries of it—guides that help us worship with clarity, unity, and joy.
4. Core Seminars Continues: Join us for 12-weeks as we look at the foundations of discipleship, where we will learn how to help one another follow the Lord Jesus. Together we will explore the practices and joys of disciple-making—from Bible study and prayer to evangelism, accountability, and caring for those who are hurting—so that we might more faithfully pursue the fullness of Christ together.
5. SLMT Dominican Republic Missions Trip is coming June 20-27! If you are interested in going you can find more information in the weekly newsletter, on Church Center, or by contacting the office. Deadline for signups is April 1st. No fooling!
6. Ladies of Leidys - Tuesday, March 3, 6:00PM in Fellowship Hall. Join us for our PotLuck Dinner! Signup is on the narthex wall or online. All women are welcome - Bring a friend!
7. The Sonshine Players Present: The Fab 4, on Saturday, March 14 at 6PM and again on Sunday, March 15 at 4PM in the Fellowship Hall. This musical brings the story of Jesus to life by sharing the Gospel through the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, through unforgettable songs, big energy, and the joyful chaos of live kids’ ministry.
8. The Property Committee will be cleaning out the Electrical and Mechanical Room in the Gym on March 14th. If you have anything stored in these places, we ask that you remove them . Thank you.
9. Love Cradle Banquet - Saturday, March 21 at 1:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Join us for an afternoon of fellowship, testimony, good food, and celebration of what God is doing through Love Cradle International to bring hope to vulnerable children and families.
10. Upwards Sports Spring Soccer is coming to Leidy’s Church! We’re excited to offer soccer for children PreK4-3rd grade! If you are looking for a soccer program for your kids with healthy competition and equal playing time, register online or contact the office for details. Willing to coach?
