ANNOUNCEMENTS

2. As you partner with us in the work of the Kingdom, please place your gifts and offerings in the offering pillars at the back of the Sanctuary.
3. Our sincere Christian sympathy to Stan Friday and family at the death of his wife LaRue on Friday. May God be with them at this time.
4. The Fourth Candle on the Advent Wreath is the candle of Love. The advent of the Christ Child is God’s eternal love reaching redemptively into the daily, grimy, fallen life of mankind. It was the love of God that planned and brought to pass the coming of Jesus into our world and, ultimately, into our personal lives.
5. Christmas Eve Service – December 24th at 5:00pm. Join us for a special worship service where we’ll reflect on Scripture, sing beloved carols and songs, and end the evening with a candlelight singing of Silent Night. We invite you to share in this celebration of Jesus birth.
6. This morning we will be receiving new members. Come welcome them in the Fellowship Hall after the service where there will be cookies and coffee. Be sure to greet them. The new members are:

8. Next Sunday is the last day to contribute to the Double Your Dollar Campaign! Let’s finish this year with a spirit of generosity and gratitude! You can give by using the Second Mile Envelope, on-line, by mail or in person.

10. NTS Fairy Godmother Event, January 15-17: Help our friends find special outfits to wear to the Night to Shine! You can help in a few ways: Donate gently used suits, dresses, shoes, jewelry, etc.; Help setup for the event on Thursday, January 15 beginning at 9AM; Help shop with a buddy to find the perfect outfit on Friday beginning at 2pm, or on Saturday beginning at 8am. Email questions to bucksmontnts@gmail.com. Donations can be dropped off at the church office any time before January 14. Thank you!
11. Adult Sunday School - Join us for a 3-week video series: Heaven by Pastor Joel Thomas from Buckhead Church in Georgia. 8:45 am, Room #123.
12. New Precept Study begins January 8th. The book of 2 Timothy is about guarding the treasure that has been entrusted to us --- the truth of God’s Word. Workbook fee $12 payable at the beginning of class. This study meets in Fellowship Hall and will continue until mid-April. Contact Verna for additional information. (It isn’t necessary to have attended 1 Timothy to be part of 2 Timothy.)
13. All financial contributions need to be in the church office no later than Wednesday, December 31st by 10:00 to be credited for the 2025 tax year.
14. New Women’s Sunday School Class: ABIDE – A study of 1,2,3 John, three short letters that focus on the importance of dwelling on the Word of God, to remain steadfast in our faith. Begins on Jan. 4th.
15. The 2026 Flower Chart is posted on the wall in the narthex for those who would like to sponsor flowers for our sanctuary.
