3. Ladies of Leidy’s meets this Tuesday evening at 6:30pm in Rm. 123. Our guest speaker will be Ed Schmidt who will be speaking about the Philadelphia Street Mission that he is a part of.
4. Zion Choral Choir will be at here at Leidy’s Church on November 16th. We’re looking for volunteers to help with greeting and ushering. Sign up on the website or contact Mary Beth Musselman to volunteer and to let us know your preferred position. Your support will make this event special! Thank you.
5. Do you live in a high-traffic area? We have plenty of yard signs for our Craft Show on November 22nd . . . so help us get the word out! Two sizes of print are available . . . depending on how fast people drive by your house! Stop by the office and please put a sign up for us!
6. Kids Spring Musical Kick Off is this Saturday at 10am in the Fellowship Hall! Join the party and learn about this year's musical! For kids 5 years on up!
7. There are four new Community Groups available. Join one today! Sign up on Church Center (Groups - Community Groups) or call the office for details! Kendall & Mary Beth Musselman: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays, 6:30-8:30; Jim & Angela Kinney: Every other Thursday at 6:30; Andrew & Reagan Wetzel: 1st & 3rd Thursdays, 7-9, & Tim & Rachel Leidy: 2nd & 4th Thursdays, 6:30-8:30.
8. A Special Needs Caregiver Support Group meets on the 2nd & 4th Fridays of the month from 9:30-11:00 in Room 123. This Christ-centered support group is for parents and caregivers of children (both young and adult) with special needs. Each meeting includes a time of devotion, open sharing of concerns and experiences, practical tips and resources, and prayer. Join us to be encouraged, find connections and walk alongside others on a similar journey. For caregivers only.
9. New Women's Sunday School class Nov 9 & 16: Realities of Heaven. A three-week teaching by Joel Thomas with a video & discussion that will provide an accurate "heavenly" picture focusing on a life of purpose and worship, as we engage in God's kingdom. From November 23 thru mid-December: An Unlikely Advent. Please join us to focus on the experiences of a few overlooked characters in the Nativity story.
10. Needed: A responsible teenager or adult to get a child off the bus and watch them for about 45 minutes every Friday in the Harleysville area. Please contact the church office if interested.
