Classes for all ages, every Sunday at 8:45am before the worship service
Children’s Sunday school is offered for children ages 2 through confirmation (age 12-13), from Truth 78 which was formerly Children Desiring God. Parents are encouraged to download the Growing in Faith Together (G.I.F.T.) app so they know what their children are being taught and can interact with them throughout the week to reinforce spiritual truths learned in class. Children's classes meet in the Children's Education Wing on the 1st floor.
The Confirmation Class is a two-year study for youth entering the 8th and 9th grades. Students are given a reference Bible at the outset of the class and spend the first year reading through it via weekly assignments. The focus of the second year is our Christian family history (warts and all!) as well as getting grounded in basic Christian theology via study of the Heidelberg Catechism. Meeting during the academic year, the class prepares students to become informed and responsible members of the body of Christ and of the local congregation. This class meets in room 123.
The Friends Sunday school class provides a safe and loving environment for those with disabilities and special needs. Participants enjoy singing, Bible stories, and creative activities. This class meets in Room 124.
Understanding how to apply the Bible to all of life can be difficult given the ever-changing and confusing world in which God has placed us. Issues and Answers is a teaching and discussion forum seeking to equip Christians to think with biblical clarity about contemporary issues. The class explores issues pertaining to doctrine/theology, ethics, apologetics/evangelism, church history, economics, creation/evolution, human sexuality, aesthetics and worldview. This class is currently studying the Understanding the Times series from Summit Ministries. This large group class meets in Fellowship Hall.
Life is full of highs and lows. At times it can seem overwhelming. God has given us a songbook for the warp and woof of life. The Ladies Sunday School class is looking at the Psalms and meets in Room 125.
It was the worst of times. Israel had no king, and everyone followed their heart. Join us as we study the book of Judges and learn about leadership and the King whose heart is wholly devoted to the Lord! This class meets in Room 211.
Each week, the youth of Leidy's Church meet during the Sunday school hour to study God's word so that they might gain a greater understanding of Scripture and how to apply it to life. This group meets in the Youth Room (adjacent to the gym).
The Young Adults Sunday school class is currently studying the book Fault Lines by Voddie Baucham. This class will explore the worldview behind the social justice movement and how it threatens American culture in general and the evangelical church in particular. This class meets in Room 111.

iBLAST is Leidy’s Wednesday night children’s program which runs from September-March with a break in December. The iBlast program is intended for children in 1st through 5th grade. A family style dinner is offered from 5:15-6:00 p.m. and is followed by the iBlast program from 6:00-7:30 p.m. There is a large group time at the beginning and then children are divided up by age for rotation through three areas: Bible lesson, workshop and snack, and alternating gym/craft weeks.
Each year in late June, Leidy’s church hosts a VBS program. Our 2022 VBS program promises to be a whale of a good time.
Grace Notes is Leidy’s children’s choir. They practice every Wednesday immediately before iBlast from 5:00-5:30 p.m. Grace Notes is open to children in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Children’s Spring Musical is open to children in Kindergarten through 5th grade, though teenagers and adults are often tapped to fill some of the more ambitious roles. Practices are held on Saturday mornings from January through April and culminate in two performances open to friends, family, and church members.
