2. As you partner with us in the work of the Kingdom, please place your gifts and offerings in the Get Connected pillars.
3. The Rosebud on the Communion Table in is honor of a baby girl, Tirzah Ryan, born to Alex and Ally Hager on Tuesday. May God be with them as they grow in Him.
4. 36 Hours of Prayer: April 18 - 20. Beginning at 7pm immediately following the Good Friday Service to 7am Easter Sunday morning in the sanctuary. Join us as we pray from the cross to the empty tomb. A sacred time set apart to seek the Lord. Follow the link in the on-line newsletter or call the church office to sign up and learn more.
5. Easter Morning Youth Fundraiser Breakfast. Come out for a breakfast prepared by the youth of 3:Six Teens Easter Sunday from 8:26-9:27 in the Fellowship Hall. Cost is a donation. Sunday School classes will not meet next Sunday.
6. Leidy’s Church Auction will be held on Saturday, April 26th. Please consider donating an auction item - all donations are greatly appreciated! You can pick up a donation slip at the Welcome Desk. Childcare is provided at 6:30 for the Live Auction.
7. Take time to view the auction preview table in the narthex. It has a variety of items that have been donated and that will be up for bidding on April 26th. You can be the owner of them if you are the highest bidder! Next week there will be a new set of items – don’t miss them!
8. Easter Flowers: As we prepare to bring our sanctuary to life for our Easter service, please consider donating $10 towards the purchase of lilies, tulips, and daffodils to help with these efforts. Simply fill out the donation slip and place it in a 2nd Mile Envelope with cash or check and drop it in one of the collection pillars. Please note that the hydrangeas and ferns have been donated to be planted at the church. Thank you.
9. Today is the last day to signup for the O.A.S.I.S. trip out to Lancaster for an Amish lunch. The cost is $18 per person, payable with cash or check made out to By or Dottie Rimmer. There is a sign-up in the narthex.
10. The Spring Blood Drive happens this Thursday from 2-7. Someone will be the narthex to get you signed up for a time slot. Or you can go online to www.redcrossblood.org and click on “Find a Blood Drive” and then go to the box type listed as leidyschurch.
11. No copy of the cookbook? Good news! A second edition is in the works. The cost of each book is $25. If you would like to get one, please get your name on the list our smiling and helpful secretaries are compiling.
12. Trying to plan out your summer? Well, here are a couple of weeks some of the more skilled of you might want to work into your summer plans. Brian Radcliff is planning two work weeks on the Carriage House down at Life Turning Point Philly. Those weeks are: July 21-25/6 and August 11-15/6. Speak with Brian for more details. He can use your help!
13. Ladies of Leidys will be having their tea on May 17th. The following items are needed to make this a successful event: 15 - 3 tier round serving stands (without the pole in the center), 15 – hot water carafes.
