ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. If you are new here and would like to know more about Jesus, Leidy’s Church, and how to get connected. Please fill out the Get Connected Card and put it in the Get Connected box on the left-hand side of the doors when you leave.
  2. A warm welcome to Rev. Armand Weller. Pastor Weller’s message, titled Something More, will expound our text from Acts 2 to explain why Pentecost is a significant and necessary part of the Christian life. This all has to do with the giving (and receiving) of the Holy Spirit. We thank God for how He has used Armand Weller to help Leidy’s Church grow and flow in the Life of the Spirit.
  3. The sacrament of Holy Communion will be shared at the service of worship this morning. We invite all members of the church of Jesus Christ to share in this sacrament.
  4. Our sincere Christian sympathy to Dianne Nase and family, and to Bonnie Pross and family at the death of their brothers. May God be with them at this time.
  5. A Congregational Meeting takes place on June 4th immediately following the service of worship. This is for the election of two Elders and two Deacons. Nominated for Elder are: Shaun Permar and Tim Leidy. Nominated for Deacon are: Josh Heebner and Tony Kapusta.
  6. The American Legion Color Guard will be at the Leidy’s Church Cemetery tomorrow around 8:25 a.m. for anyone who would like to be present. There will be a Color Guard salute, taps, and a prayer.
  7. As you partner with us in the work of the Kingdom, please place your gifts and offerings in the Get Connected pillars.
  8. The Mission Committee meets at 7pm this Wednesday, May 31st, in the Conference Room.
  9. If you are interested in learning more about Leidy’s Church please contact the church office. We are looking to begin an Inquirer’s Class sometime in the future.
  10. Rose Jaunzemis extends gratitude and thanks for all the cards, visits, calls, prayers, and other marks of encouragement during her recent extended hospitalization. She continues to solicit your prayers as she recuperates.
  11. Phoenix and Elijah Smith and family wish to thank the Leidy’s Church family for helping them with support towards the Missions Trip they are taking to Alaska. Please keep them in your prayers as they leave on June 9th.
  12. The flowers are placed by Nelda Metzler in loving memory of husband Elvin.
