ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. If you are new here and would like to know more about Jesus, Leidy’s Church, and how to get connected, please fill out the Get Connected Card and put it in the Get Connected pillars on the left-hand side of the doors when you leave the sanctuary.

2. As you partner with us in the work of the Kingdom, please place your gifts and offerings in the Get Connected pillars.

3. The Spring O.A.S.I.S. bring a Covered Dish to Share Luncheon is set for this Thursday beginning at 12:00. R.S.V.P. by signing up on the OASIS form in the narthex. Hope to see you there!

4. Women’s Sunday School Class begins a new study next Sunday. Join us for a study from the book of Acts – Awakening to God in Everyday Life. We need a continual awaking if we want to become more aware of God’s presence in the every-day! No book needed, except your Bible.

5. We welcome Karli Weiss to Leidy’s Church. This morning she will present to us an opportunity to partner with North Care Women’s Clinic to support their efforts to provide help and advice to women and families who struggle with a difficult, unplanned or unwanted pregnancy.  The bottles are to be used to collect change. They are due back on Sunday, April 28th.

6. Bakers needed to bake for the auction to provide desserts  as part of the food concession. Bakers’ choice, make whatever you would like. Drop off Friday afternoon or Saturday before the auction. Questions call the office.

7. The Spring Blood Drive happens on Thursday, April 18th from 12-7. Someone will be the narthex to get you signed up for a time slot.

8. The Communications Team is looking for people who would like to help with a few of the areas we manage including the weekly newsletter emails and the website. Don’t have experience in MailChimp or Webflow? No problem!! If you’re interested in technology and willing to learn, you could be the perfect fit! Email Aaron Vogelzang (aaron.vogelzang@gmail.com) if interested.

9. Check out the table in the Narthex, the one with some items that will be available at the SLMT Auction. Let it serve as a reminder that: 1) lots of good items will be available; 2) you might want to provide an item for the Auction if you’ve not done so already; and 3) to clear your calendar for Saturday, April 27th, for the SLMT Auction. Doors open at 4:30 with lots of food available and the live Auction begins at 6:30

10. There are two more mulching and weeding opportunities for you to make our grounds attractive this Spring. The dates are April 13, and 20, times are 8:00-12:00. Talk to Brian Radcliff if you have any questions.

11. If you know of an apartment/room for rent at a very affordable rate for a single woman, please contact the church office.
