GOSPEL GLEANING PRAYER POINTERS
  • Developing Christian virtues should be a priority for all Christian believers. This always involves making choices: What will I do? What will I not do? Where will I go? Where will I not go? As we pray for the 12 Church Planters working among the Erukula people, it would be fitting to utilize Psalm 119:3 in our prayers. This verse speaks of those who are consciously seeking to serve the Lord. Here is their goal: They also do no unrighteousness; They walk in His ways. That verse encapsulates how Christian virtues are developed. It has the negative side, and it has the positive side. Each day the Church Planters will face innumerable decisions. Villages will be watching them. They will know the Lord is watching them too. May they live out Psalm 119:3 to the glory of God and the good of the Erukula people.
  • We praise the Lord for this testimony from ‘Nando,’ a Program Director in Niger: During the training, many testified to the manifestation of God’s power in their lives; they testified that even though they are in an area threatened by terrorists and jihadists, there were many healings of sick people, many converts, and many were delivered from evil spirits.  Please keep praying for the peace and security in this part of Niger. One of the disciples, a former Muslim young man got converted and became so bold in evangelism (he calls himself an evangelist) he brought 12 of his fellow Muslim brothers to the Lord already.” Pray for Nando and other Program Directors trained by Global Disciples for boldness when facing persecution and for safety for them and their families. Therefore, let all the faithful pray to You while You may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them. You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Psalm 32:6-7
